The Varsity Quest program is designed for players who aspire to play on their high school Junior Varsity or Varsity teams. It focuses on the development of the player’s current stroke and looks to make incremental improvements with emphasis placed on high percentage tennis. Players get to understand why they lose matches as a key foundation for winning them. Our goal is to equip them physically, mentally and tactically to be confident competitors.

Players new to INTENSITY must be evaluated prior to registration.
Clinics combine 90 minutes of on-court instruction with 30 minutes of off-court training comprising either physical conditioning in our state-of-the-art training facility or mental and tactical development in a classroom setting.
Match Play: We encourage participation in Match Play on Saturday afternoons, which is where learning from clinics is put into the context of a competitive match. This component of the program is deliberately packaged to be only a small increment for players signing up for 2 or more clinics per week.
Video Analysis: The innovative Playsight video analytics system is used to breakdown every aspect of our players’ games including shot speed, placement, and height-over-net. All players stats are posted online to review with coaches to improve their games.
Physical Conditioning: All clinics include a 30-minute session of movement, footwork and stamina in our 2,000 sqft speed and agility studio with our Certified Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructors.
Which Clinic? What about Match Play? Students who attend 2 clinics & the Match Play achieve the greatest benefits from this program. We highly recommend the Saturday clinic followed by the Match Play for a full 4 hours of technical coaching & practice with 24 juniors on 6 courts.
USTA Junior Team Tennis: When ready to compete on a USTA team, Varsity Quest players will be invited to represent INTENSITY on a USTA team tennis league.
