Junior Development 2 Weekly Tennis Camps
Times: Mon-Fri 9am-2pm
Location: on INTENSITY’s climate controlled courts
These camps follow the ITF’s Progressive Tennis system of scaled training and competition for kids, the development method of choice in the majority of the world’s leading tennis nations. It is an exciting play format designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing modified equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size.

Weekly Tennis Camps
Intensity: This is a skill development program giving students an opportunity to explore the tactical and physical demands of the game. At this level players have the opportunity to experiment with their game in a less competitively pressurized program.
Focus: At this level, we introduce shot selection, tactics, and patterns of play while continuing to develop the child’s game and style of play.
Format: These camps are limited to 4 kids per 78′ by 27′ court and use 25% slower balls and regular balls depending on skill level. Camp begins with ½ hour of warm up, footwork, speed and agility training followed by 3½ hours of tennis, with a break in the middle (please bring lunch). The last 45 minutes of every day is devoted to match play where we teach the rules of the game and foundational strategies for success.
What to bring: Please bring lunch (nut free) and a drink.
