High Performance – Fall Session 2018-07-23T23:32:39+00:00

The most complete player development program offered in Fairfield County. The High Performance program is divided into three competitive levels so that all players are stretched to achieve their highest potential.

We suggest a minimum of 2 clinics a week plus the Sunday Match Play for all players.

This program is divided into 3 levels: Next Generation, All Stars and Champions. Next Generation is for younger players, All Stars is for JV and Varsity players and Champions is for our highest level players, however we recognize that players don’t always fit neatly into one of those 3 categories and so the registration form on the right asks for the player’s school grade and skill level to give a list of appropriate clinics and match plays.

High Performance is the program to which most of our junior players aspire. It is the most complete development program for tournament and pre-tournament level players, challenging participants to be the best they can possibly be. It is led by one of the country’s top developmental coaches, Ryan Ginley, who has repeatedly led players to sectional, national and even international success. In addition to Ryan, Kris Hrisovolus and Dante Terenzio round out the effective, thorough, skillful team of professional coaches and tennis professionals that assist to develop the state’s Top USTA Juniors. The program includes on and off-court training, including both physical conditioning and tactical and mental preparation. Match play and tournament coaching are intrinsic to the program.

Ryan Ginley: Ryan has been coaching for over 20 years. In that time he has worked for over a decade with only high performance players, consistently developing them into top 20 national players and beyond. His players have won Gold and Silver balls, numerous USTA national titles and are competing in ITF and Pro Circuit events. He has been successfully sending players on to flourishing college careers as well.

Adam Altschuler: Adam’s record as a coach is impeccable. He has coached 7 times Grand Slam Champion and Gold medalist Bethanie Mattek-Sands since 2010 and has variously coached Victoria Azarenka, Lucie Safarova, Christina Mchale, Melanie Oudin. He brings the dedication and training insights from the professional tour to the program.

Kris Hrisovoulos: Kris brings over 10 years of tennis coaching experience as an Academy Director, Director of Juniors and Junior Coordinator. In this time he has coached and developed many junior players that have had top 100 USTA National Rankings and top Regional Rankings. Kris graduated in 2004 from Niagara University with a B.A. in Business and Sports Management. At Niagara he played Division I tennis and helped the program to two conference championship appearances. Additionally he has been the Boy’s Tennis Head Coach at Staples High School since 2010. He has guided them to a 116-6 record, two Connecticut state championships and two FCIAC championships.
