Kris Hrisovulos

Kris brings over 10 years of High Performance coaching experience as an Academy Director, Director of Juniors and Junior Coordinator at clubs within Fairfield and Westchester counties. In this time he has coached and developed many junior players that have had top 100 USTA National Rankings and top Regional Rankings.

Kris graduated in 2004 from Niagara University with a B.A. in Business and Sports Management. At Niagara he played Division I tennis and helped the program to two conference championship appearances.

Kris also heads the Boys Staples High School program in Westport.  He has guided the Wreckers to four Connecticut State Class LL Championships (2011, 2014, 2016, 2017) and four FCIAC Championships (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) through 8 seasons as the Varsity Coach. Hrisovulos has compiled a 156-8 (.951) career coaching record. His Wreckers have had three undefeated seasons (21-0) in 2014, 2015, and 2017, a 46 game team winning streak (2014-2016), three Connecticut State Class LL runners-up in 2012, 2013 and 2015, and eight straight FCIAC final appearances from 2010-2017.  In 2014, Hrisovulos was named FCIAC Coach of the Year.
