Director USTA/Adult Tennis
Ernesto grew up playing junior tennis in Argentina and played collegiate Division 1 tennis at SLU (Southeastern Louisiana University) where he pursued his degree in International Business & Economics. Upon graduation, Ernesto spent over 16 years teaching in Chicago. His primary focus has been coaching High Performance Juniors – and has served as developmental coach to several students who eventually achieved USTA nationally rankings inside the Top 10, NCAA rankings inside Top 20 and players who achieved ATP points.
Ernesto has extensive teaching experience apart from working with juniors. He has held leadership positions in several clubs including the Director of Tennis positions at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club (Oak Brook, IL) and Glenbrook Racquet Club (Glenview, IL), Director of Junior Tennis at Five Seasons Sports Club (Burr Ridge IL and ran his own company called TENNIS 365 which developed many elite players and served as a vehicle for many juniors to train and compete in South America and Europe. While in Chicago, Ernesto also directed the USTA’s Competition Training Center from 2006 to 2010. Most recently, Ernesto was the Director of Tennis at Hudson Valley Health & Tennis Club in NY and is currently the Head Tennis Professional at Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT during the summer months.
Ernesto is certified as a PTR Professional and enjoys teaching and coaching players of all levels and ages.
