Ann-Sophie was born and raised in Belgium. She started playing tennis at a young age joining her parent’s who played at the local club. She went on to play competitive tennis at the age of 10 on the Belgian junior circuit. At the age of 16 Ann-Sophie started working as a certified tennis coach for the junior program at her local club. After high school she was recruited to play tennis and study at Midwestern State University in Texas where she played for two seasons until she transferred to Lincoln Memorial University, in Tennessee, to compete for two years on their tennis team. During her senior year Ann-Sophie went undefeated in the regular season posting a record of 21-0 which helped lead her team to a South Atlantic Conference Championship. Ann-Sophie was also part of one of the most successful doubles teams at Lincoln Memorial University with doubles partner Sofia Lopez.
In May 2011 Ann-Sophie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast communications. After her tennis career at LMU she decided to pursue a Master in Business Administrations while being the schools Graduate Assistant tennis coach. During her two years as graduate assistant coach she helped run the teams on court and off court practices and match coaching. Ann Sophie brings her passion for tennis and a wealth of experience as a junior competitor to INTENSITY.
